The impressive Teufelstal Wall is steeper and offers more variety of climbing than in Schollenen. The cracks and dihedrals in the rock are perfect for placing gear. It’s not really needed on routes like “Alpentraum” and “Zeichen der Freundschaft” (Sign Of Friendship), but still is a good place to practice. The approach requires a rappel into the Gorge (first rap station is about 30m north of the end of the Via Ferrata).

In the "Wilden 13" on the Teufelstalwand 13 quickdraws are necessary, indicated are 10. A set of Camalots from 0.3 to 2 are sufficient even for less mentally experienced climbers. The first rappel into the gorge is 50, not 45m.
