The Kalymnos of Switzerland? Unfortunately, not exactly. Although the tufas and stalactites hang from above, comparing the two places is still a stretch. Often a thick dust or tenacious lichen coat the rock and some of the stalactites may not be long for this world. Despite these drawbacks, this area above beautiful Lake Biel with its Mediterranean flair is unique. Once the holds are really cleaned up (though some of the holds are unfortunately chipped), the climbing will be lots of fun!
