Soubey – Clairbief ****

Here is a little taste of Franken (Jura) in the Swiss Jura. This climbing area, with the picturesque village of Soubey nearby, as well as the fine restaurants along the Doubs River is reminiscent of the international climbing mecca in Germany. The numerous rock outcroppings spread out in the forest require pocket and crimp pulling skills. Plaisir climbers turn right shortly before the border to find the slabs of Clairbief with their ideally equipped routes on perfect pocketed rock.

New access to the climbing garden "Clairbief": On the Swiss side of the brook, directly next to the restaurant, climb up to the reservoir and from here, according to the sketch, continue to the rocks (signpost).
