Fans of high vertical walls and exposed traverses may be met with disappointment here. The large number of routes are perfect for the youth and beginning climbers, and are also an ideal training venue. Experienced climbers can still find two really great ridge climbs on the Windegghorn that require gear placement skills. Plaques at the base easily identify all of the routes. Take Note: Keep your eyes pealed while climbing or on the approach or descent for glistening crystals. They are all over the place!
