Bilitscher ***

The hidden pearl of Hasliberg! The glacier formed a “Wave”-like feature which proudly looks down to the village of Innertkirchen and has a handful of routes in the upper grades. The legendary route “Passion” was put up in 1999 by Hanspi Bodmer and graded 8c+. Three years later, Dave Graham fired the 2nd ascent. Since then, the route has not been repeated. A broken hold may have made it more difficult. Nearby, find “Balu” (8b) and “Teamwork” (8b). Besides these fine climbs to the left of “Passion”, awaits a project to be free climbed. The climbing on Bilitscher is predominantly thin, technical, and finger intensive and similar to routes at Cevi. Best time of the year is actually in low snow years during the winter months and also during the Fall (expect shade after 3pm). Please adhere to the parking restrictions and protect the sensitive flora and fauna. E-Bike approaches are ideal!
