Les Sommêtres ****

This outstanding climbing area, high above the Doubs River, is situated in a quiet and unique landscape. The routes are wildly dispersed which gives it a special character. The traverse of the “Sommêtres“ gives an impressive and long climb, especially for beginners. Climbing on the south facing rocks can become very warm, which makes climbing here very attractive on mild winter days.
