Aiguille du Queyrellin ****

The approach trail starts right from the campground. It leads through larch forests to the idyllic setting of the Refuge de Chardonnet. The trail continues on through meadows to the base of the wall. Especially in the fall, this place is magical. Those looking for a more casual climb, will choose one of the two routes on the “Contrefort”. Beware!: the alpine descent requires sure footedness. With phenomenal rock quality, the two dream climbs on the Aiguilette du Queyrellin are unequalled. Unfortunately, the climbing comes to an end way too quickly. Nevertheless, a place well worth a visit!
