Caslano ****

Caslano is one of the few really good limestone crags in Ticino. Characterized by nice solid rock with thin holds and veiled features. Strong fingers and precise footwork is the key to success. Routes like “Settimo Comandamento” or “Free Energy” are the ideal ringband finger test pieces. The best for their grades are “Immensita” (7b+), “La Rana” (8a), and “Noce Bianca” (8a+). The rock faces northeast, you can save on sun cream and fingertips. Have fun!
