Barglen ****

You have to earn access to the routes on the secluded south facing walls between Hohmad and Barglen with quite a long hike. It is possible to ease the pain of the long approach in summer by using a mountain or E bike and via a nice ski tour in late winter. Beware of cornice exposure. You can ride down the north side to Stöckalp via Tannenrotisand. Sämi Speck took on these high walls and put up some really nice new routes. The rock quality is for the most part very good and is fabulous on the crag - have fun away from busy Melchsee!
