The “Grotta dei Tirli” is situated on the opposite side of the valley of the popular climbing area of Cevio. In contrast, you won’t see many other climbers in the Grotto. It might be because of the relatively long approach for a total of 9 routes. And then, the routes start out at a minimum of 8a in difficulty! But if you can handle the grade, three fantastic routes and climbing you otherwise only find in Flatanger await you. The king line “Lo spigolo proibito” (8b) is one of the best routes at the grade in the Tessin (Ticino). Don’t take my word for it….Check it out yourself!

Andi Mürner was able to climb two of Pesche's projects in the cave: The line on the far left (No. 1) "Delizio" checks in at 7c. Surely the route will become even more delicate after a few ascents! He also freed the project on the left from "Attenti a quei due" (No. 5). The result is "Fly or die", 8b! Cool crimpy climbing and a finale furioso await you.... The route runs in the upper part briefly (2 holds) with "Attenti a quei due", otherwise it is independent. The two routes can also be combined (approx. 8a). Evaluation proposal "Attenti a quei due": With the easiest solution probably more like 8a.
