Prato *****

Above the hundred souls village of Prato sits this majestic wall. The untiring Pesche Wuthrich drilled, cleaned, and climbed more than 70 routes between 3a and 8b here all within a very short period of time. The left side of the wall, especially, remains wet long into spring. Nice face climbs on edges and aretes is typical. On the right overhanging side, more of a bouldering technique is required, with heel hooks, lunges, Gastons, crimps, and slopers being the norm.  Unfortunately, the first bolt on the easier routes is often placed high. Be careful for the first few meters.

The route "Semifinale" (7c) ends at the fixed express before the left traverse (continue project)!
