Ofen – Nünplatten *****

The large number of routes to choose from, the idyllic and peaceful surroundings, and the fantastic water pocketed limestone cliffs all make Ofen a popular climbing destination. Please observe the road closures from Turrenbach. By mountain bike, even at a casual pace, Unter Boden can easily be reached in 45 minutes. The crags are within the regulated hunting boundaries, therefore, between November 15 - May 15 (the wildlife protection dates) the area is closed to climbing. Further climbing restrictions are in effect until June 15. Please respect these rules and regulations and preserve our privilege to climb here at other times.

On the route “Planet der Affen”, a bolt has broken off at the third belay station. Many other (galvanized) bolts are heavily rusted and in poor condition. Anyone interested in rebolting should contact Filidor or Rebolting...
