Oberried ****

Grazing cows roam about the flat meadow, numerous routes on awesome granite, a playground: Welcome to Oberried, the biggest and most popular climbing sport crag in Ötz Valley (Ötztal). The climbing is diverse and plentiful and challenging. You may need to dip into your bag of tricks more than once to get to the top. Matthias Burtscher and Clemens Wilhelm  passionately developed the “Baumriese” Sector in 2014 resulting in several Plaisir routes of the highest quality. Oberried is a summer climbing area (shade after 1130am).
