Bire Beatenberg ***

Thanks to the generous rebolting and clean up activities by the Cordeiro “cleaning crews”, the routes along the trail are in great shape. A small selection of really nice routes are in the lower section. Here the landings are not very spacious, but the rock is sharper! Climbing at the Bire during the winter months is often best with the sun shining from 10am till 5pm. After rain, especially in the “Wanderweg” sector, expect the wall to be pretty damp for a few days.
