Agaro ****
An Ossola Gem. The black churt/quartz dike imbedded gneiss in Agaro is bomber and so nicely featured. Fun climbing all around! The nearby residents back in 1936 were required to move and relocate to allow for the building of the 57m high Dam wall. Two years later, the reservoir was filled, burying the Village Agaro under water. When the water level sinks low, you can still see the pointed church steeple.
