Le Schilt *****

Isolated in a little side valley, yet still in close proximity to the city, the crags of the Schilt are really a little world all of their own. Airy alpine multi-pitch routes as well as pure sport climbs up the steep buttresses are all on the menu. The “Verdon” and “Petit pilier” sectors particularly have some of the highest quality rock in the Bernese Jura. The approach hikes are pretty steep and at times exposed.
