Roua ***
On the way to Sanetsch, you will encounter this most impressive wall. The sustained routes are on excellent rock which occasionally is covered with a coarse grained sintered layer. A good lead head is key, because some of the protection can be in the “sporty” category. Looking down at your footholds will usually show mostly air, and even the landings and route starts are airy and exposed. In the summer months expect to climb in the shade until 13pm, but in the Fall you can climb till sundown. The routes included here are the ones deemed most worthwhile.
