Vaccarese is one of the most rewarding climbing areas around Lecco. The rock is coarse and the routes easily fit into the Plaisir category. After rain, the rock stays wet for awhile. During summer, with its south facing exposure, climbing can be too hot. Aside from that, it is possible to climb here year round.
