Osogna ***

Osogna was one of the first sport climbing areas in Ticino. Development history goes back to the 1980s. In that decade, the steep cliffs above Osogna were on the To Do list of every ambitious sport climber. Particularly the routes in sector “Parcheggio” were very cutting edge for the standards of the times. Osogna was unique because most of the other  hard climbing areas during those years climbed thin slab. An area wide bolt retrofitting campaign was launched in 2004.
