Much different than on the Burser Slabs across the way where Beat Kammerlander’s trad crucible, the route “Prinzip Hoffnung” (Principle Of Hope) where you mostly look for the holds in vain, the Burser Gorge offers steep, pumpy climbs like right out of the gym! Awesome enduro routes are found in the Sector “Burser Verschneidung” and “Grosse Wand” (the round pebbles and pockets provide a lactic acid forearm pump!) Shorter and more bouldery, the routes in “Rumpelkammer“ are cruxier. Many routes remain dry and protected from the rain, which makes this a popular destination when weather is an issue.
