Bubiwändli ***
The unremarkable appearing Bubiwandli is for the problem solver. Perfect climbing conditions (summer is too hot), precise footwork, and unbelievable finger strength are often the keys to success. Barely discernible nubbins for holds on a slightly vertical to mildly overhanging wall explains the extreme difficulty of Stephan Schibli’s “Aragon” (9a). After rain, it may be necessary to wait up to three days for the crag to dry out.
