Plaun da Lej **
Rich in tradition, the first pitons were pounded into this crag on routes climbed in the late 1950s. The area served as a training ground option when the mountains were clouded in bad weather. Then in the 1990s the majority of the routes were developed. In 2005, all the routes were retrofitted and newly equipped.
Plaun da Lej offers an alternative climbing destination when “Polveriera” is either too cold or too crowded. As long as it is free of snow, you can often climb here as early as the end of February.
