Who doesn’t know about the golden brown slabs of Eldorado? Rumors have long been whispered of the beauty as well as the scary run outs! The devious nature of these routes created by the prolific Remy Brothers is legend. The reality: The rock is fabulous, the surroundings are like fairy lands, the protection can be merely a figment of your imagination. But for those who are not intimidated by bold leads and placing gear, should at least once during their climbing careers, visit this land of the golden rock. For the 30th anniversary of the first routes put up at Eldorado, the tireless and indefatigable Remy Brothers decided to retrofit a few of their routes.

New construction of the dam wall at Lake Grimsel. Entering the dam wall is prohibited during the construction phase (approx. until 2025). Access to the climbing areas will take place from the "summer hole". The Grimsel Hospice is open.
