The south side of the Badile lingers unrightly so in the shadows of its more famous north side. Here, the sun doesn’t only shine more, but the climbing season lasts significantly longer. Until the first snows fall, you can count on ideal climbing conditions, despite the fact that you have to carry up your own food. You will rejoice when you discover how good the climbing and the rock is: knobs, pockets, and quartz intrusions on fine granite. The climbing requires excellent conditioning and endurance as well as a vast experience placing trad gear, otherwise it can quickly get serious and dangerous.
