Holzegg ****

Climbable year round, gorgeous panoramic views, grippy rock, perfectly protected, and a plethora of great pumpy climbs all add up to make Holzegg THE weekend climbing destination. Since 2010, René Andermatt has tended and mended his klettergarten (crag)! He has spent countless hours cleaning the entire wall, rebolting, and even adding new routes. We applaud his efforts, and they have paid off well! Still, please wear your helmet even at the base of the wall.
