Murmelifels ***

Peter Gobet “discovered” this striking chunk of rock in the idyllic Gantrisch range in 2014 and drilled the first four routes. Then new route activity at Murmelifels quieted down quite a bit until 2020 when Peter returned with Adrian Voegeli to equip the rest of the routes. The climbing is on diverse featured rock and requires a wide repertoire of moves. You also have the opportunity to practice your clean climbing skills placing cams and nuts in the nice cracks. The higher elevation and frequent breezes make it an ideal locale for summer and fall. In August, the wall is in the sun after 11:00am.
