Like a majestic king sitting high up on his throne, this limestone tower sits above the Lower Wallis and the valley views are incredible. Taking the gondola ride from Verbier makes the approach a breeze. If it is not running, you can drive up with a car. Perfect place to acclimatize, this family friendly wonderful climbing crag is highly recommended. The long routes on the South Face of the Pierre Avoi definitely have an alpine feel. Whether short or long, a fantastic day is guaranteed.
